FSU quarterback commits climb in recruiting update

In the recent recruiting database update from 247 Sports, Tribe 24 quarterback commit Luke Kromenhoek saw his stock once again continue to rise. The 6-foot-4 190-pound prospect from Savannah, Georgia climbed from the 8th-ranked quarterback in the 2024 class to 3rd. He also rose from the 63rd-ranked player in the country to 33rd overall.

Kromenhoek is currently a high 4-star with a recruit ranking of 0.96, the highest rated at the position for FSU since 2016. He recently put together a solid top 4 performance at the Elite 11 competition and has been on a meteoric rise since starting as an unranked prospect when Mike Norvell and the FSU staff first offered. Keep in mind last season was Kromenhoek’s first at the quarterback position and he could likely earn a fifth star with a big senior season.

Kromenhoek has been committed to Florida State since 3/26/22 and has since been an avid recruiter for Tribe 24 himself. The future of the position looks to be in good hands with a host of talented young passers like AJ Duffy who was a former 4-star signee, Brock Glenn who flipped from Ohio State to FSU in the class of 2023, and the commitment of Kromenhoek if he does end up signing.

Also in the update, 2025 FSU quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr, got a bump adding a fourth star and moving into the top 20 at the position.

I think we should also be sure to credit the hard work quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz has put in with this group and how far they have come. Thanks for reading and Go Noles!
