Here’s where the Seminoles rank in ESPN’s post-spring Top 25

We are less than 100 days from the beginning of the 2024 season. With spring camp in the books, and a better idea of what each team will be working with this year, a certain unnamed 4 letter network just released its post-spring Top 25 power rankings.

Coming off a 13-1 season, there are high hopes in Tallahassee for another strong performance this year. The Seminoles will be one of many teams vying for a spot in the newly expanded 12-team playoffs. There’s a lot to replace from last season, but Mike Norvell has the Noles rolling in the right direction. They have put together a 23-4 record in the past two years and will now have the most talented roster in Norvell’s tenure at FSU.

Looking to reload for 2024, FSU has signed the seventh-ranked transfer class according to 247 Sports rankings. The Noles have signed 10 Blue-Chip transfers, the most in college football. Those transfers will join a roster that has seen its homegrown talent continue to elevate with players like Patrick Payton, Azareye’h Thomas, and Lawrence Toafili poised for a big year.

But how confident are those outside of Tallahassee that the Noles are ready to repeat their success in 2024? ESPN’s post-spring power rankings have the Seminoles sitting eleventh in the Top 25. This sounds fair for a talented team with a few unknowns. FSU is the highest-ranked ACC team on the list. If they could hold on to that spot by winning the ACC championship, they would be guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Here’s a look at the full Top 25 power rankings.
