“The future is bright at Florida State” is a phrase we often use to describe the momentum the Seminoles have gained since last season. Not only have they found success on the field, but a run of success on the trail has them in the mix for a top 5 recruiting class in 2024.
Tribe 24 has a lot of talented players who could help this program stay in the upper echelon of college football for the foreseeable future. In the most recent On3 industry rankings update, QB Luke Kromenhoek received his fifth star. With the ranking upgrade, Kromenhoek joins KJ Bolden and Charles Lester III to give FSU three five-star commits. If the Noles land all three, it would be the most since 2017, according to On3 industry rankings.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound signal caller from Savannah, Georgia, has shot up the rankings since FSU first offered back in 2021. He has climbed from an unranked prospect to reaching 5-star status and is now the 31st-ranked prospect nationally and the 5th-ranked quarterback in the 2024 class according to On3.
Kromenhoek had a great showing in the Elite 11 competition and has made some highlight throws during his career at Benedictine Military School. Not only does he have a big arm, but he’s also an athletic player with a good understanding of the game.
Luke committed to the Seminoles on March 26th, 2022, and has since shut down his recruitment and plans to be an early enrollee. Kromenhoek has already shown his leadership skills as a top recruiter for Tribe 24.
The offensive staff at FSU has transformed the quarterback room since their arrival. Although veteran quarterback Jordan Travis will depart after this season, the future of the position is in good hands with a group that currently projects to have an experienced Tate Rodemaker, two four-stars, and an incoming five-star competing for the job. Congratulations to Luke on earning his fifth star! Thanks for reading, and Go Noles!
